FarCry Regulator Cheat Fullscreen HD

I consider this one an outright cheat to complete the indoor portion of Regulator, although there is no modification to the game. It starts at the checkpoint just before entering the garage door and is realistic difficulty.

My question is whether you ever found a good strategy to get past that rocket monster (there may even be more than one at realistic) and the chimps, because that part was always the toughest for me. I just remembered it's the last part of the level you flood to reach the exit at the ceiling. I hope you remember what I mean because it's been ages since I played, and thanks for all the great videos. You're a great player.

Thanks, I appreciate the compliment! Yes, I believe you are thinking of the last part of the Cooler level. I do have a tactic for that rocket fatboy, but let's move these type of discussions to the Channel Comments section since it is not on topic for this particular video. :-)

this is not fullscreen HD. See those black bars on the left and right? Ya....Upload the video in 1280 X 720, and they will be gone.

It is fullscreen (4:3), you are thinking of widescreen (16:9). Most people throughout the world still do not have widescreen monitors, plus FC was originally developed as a fullscreen game. You can set it to play widescreen, but the aspect ratio will still be distorted. It does not implement true widescreen correctly.

When you said fullscreen, I assumed you meant the video occupied the whole screen. Yes, most people in the world do not have a widescreen monitor, but you do not need a widescreen monitor to see the video in its widescreen form. The only reason I would suggest trying widescreen (fill up whole video box) is because it looks really good and seems more professional.

Playing a widescreen video on a fullscreen monitor will produce black bars across the top and bottom with a smaller height picture. They get no bars and the full correct undistorted picture as it stands. I consider it much more professional to preserve the correct aspect ratio of the game, rather than stretch and distort it simply to fill in bars for a much smaller segment of the population. Another benefit is smaller file size for faster download of playback, particularly at 720P.

I feel silly asking, because I can't remember well which level it is, but maybe you can help. Remember where you meet Val inside a half-flooded room? (I think you meet her, I'm not positive about this) You have to crawl through a vent after swimming underwater a little. Then you get to a grate at the end, and there's a large rocket monster if you fall to the ground. After him there are two or three chimp monsters right inside the flooded room where Val is...(cont)
