@stdguage Originally they didn't have airbrakes, back when they first 'hatched' they were equipped with Pierce Arrow brakes and standard handbrakes. 2 had them installed in 1999 to run on the Silverton, and to run on the Museum's loop while number 7 was in for restoration. Gesse 3,4,5, and 7 I believe had airbrakes installed in 1950 when they were converted for tourist use or if not they had them slapped on till recently {3 after purchase by Knotts Berry, 5 and 7 after restoration }
