On jews as a race, there are many jews that insist that jew is a race such as Morley Safer for example.

They look at there being two distinctive classes of jews, full blooded jews and those who follow the jewish faith but are not a jews by descent.

Then there is the confusion that comes from ashkenazi jews who actually originate from eastern europe but consider themselves to be the jewish race.

So there are hebrew and mongolian jews both claiming to be jews by race.

Jews only follow the old testament, which they call the torah, they do not follow the Bible in it's entirety..

They don't believe in Jesus Christ as the messiah and do not follow the new testiment.

They do follow what they call the talmud, which is not the word of God

To suggest that the Bible teachings came from jews is blasphemy , the Bible is the word of God not the word of jews.

BTW where is the first mention of the 'jews' in the Bible?

@hockeytruth besides, what else could Jesus have been? he was obviously religious and he didn't just pull everything you know about christianity out his ass. also, i AM a jew, and who do you think you are by calling me a son of satan? i've done nothing wrong, only god can judge a person by their actions, not you. If they hadn't hung him, then he wouldn't be your savior, tell me what you will, as long as it's a Thank You :)

@hockeytruth first of all being a jew is NOT a race, jews have been scattered all over the world and don't look like one distinctive group of people anymore, sure there's the big noses and curly hair and heavy eyelids (which i'm guilty of having but i digress) jews can be asian, there's ethiopian jews, and some caucasian jews you would never think were actually jews. where do you think most of the bibles teachings came from? do you know anything about the jewish faith?

Are you saying it's difficult to be a Jew by race or a Jew by religion?

If you're defining 'Jew' by your religious following then it isn't easy or difficult it's something you choose.

Secondly you wonder what it says about me?

How could stating facts have any negative reflection on me?

As far as Jesus being a Jew...

A Jew by race? Possibly (I'm not sure either way)

A Jew by faith? No, that doesn't make any sense

Jesus call the Pharisees a "generation of vipers" and "sons of Satan"

He attempted to redeem them, not condone their teachings, that's why they hung him.

@lilfatl Palestine should leave Israel. Free Israel, for the Jews to return to the land of their birthright. As you should know this already.
