@Kareena1988 If you are deficient, then you need to get your absorption in order. Do a colon cleanse, eat some fruit, drink some freshly squeezed fruit and vegetable juices, do some water fasting, etc. You would need to cleanse your colon so that B12 can get absorbed. If the colon is clogged with toxic junk that was left over from a toxic diet, then B12 won't get absorbed even if you eat meat, eggs, milk, etc. Stay away from animal products.

@highsugarfruit so if u r deficient anyway...u dont have to take it..

@EarthFriendlyDavid John Robbins is a cool guy, but I've been a vegan for 1/2 a year now. For past 2 months, I've been a raw vegan. I don't really remember what diet John recommends, but raw is best.

@Kareena1988 Basically, it says that 40% of Americans are B12 deficient and that eating animal products has nothing to do with B12 levels. It's all about absorption. B12 is made in large intestine and through a very complex process is successfully recycled through the body if the absorption is good. The author of that book is anti-vegan. Also, check out Dr. Morse and Andreas Mortitz who have the same perspective on B12 and don't even recommend B12 supplements to vegans for this reason.

it is untrue that only a select few can be healthy on a vegetarian diet. search, "why human beings are not designed to eat meat" on the web. also check out how it was discovered that big muscular gladiators were VEGAN! look up "the china study" where researchers actually learned they could "turn" cancer growth off and on by what they fed it. in the book "food revolution" you'll find that in california it takes **5214 gallons of water to produce only 1 lb of beef** only 30 for a lb of potatoes.

@highsugarfruit if you really want the whole story, read john robbins book, "food revolution". this book is so well written i'm sure it will answer all your questions about why you should consider becoming a vegetarian. the world needs more people like you who seek the truth then share what they learn with others. good luck on your journey!

@highsugarfruit what about B12 in the book?

I am a vegan but let me say that I 100% support cruelty-free, organic, good for the planet meat. I would love to tell you my philosophy on veganism (and its not contradicting towards meat-eaters). But im a bit slow with technology. So can someone tell me how I email the Underground Wellness guy?

Second Low carb diets work for alot of people. Third your the one that needs to stop selective reading lol. Come one dude think about it you only read shit you agree with. Your last name is christmas but your a godless loser. buzz off
B12 problem -- Read the book "Could it be B12?"
Vitamin A -- Carrots
Vitamin D -- get enough sun
Omega-3 -- walnuts are loaded with with
Soy -- don't need this food.

@frizzzzzzal and there ya go - it IS a personal opinion that you are entitled to.
I wish more vegans and vegetarians would understand it's their opinion, just like eating meat is, in my opinion, just fine.
The science bears out the truth that organic meats/poultry/fish is healthy. It also shows that lots of veggies and fruit is healthy.
what's not healthy is refined/processed CRAP that's in so much of our western diet.
