@terryc that's a sweet story and reminds me again why I love her so much. the two of them were deffinately perfectly matched souls so it's been really difficult to hear how hard his death has been on her.

What an incredible pair of matched souls! I was in Darien, CT looking for a friend's house. There was this woman walking her dog who looked "local". i stopped and showed her my business card, not knowing who she was at first. Her eyes got huge when she saw that i am from Marietta, Georgia. She then gave me directions to my friend's house. I then said, "And you are Joanne Woodward". She said, "That's right...". We traded gentle jokes about Paul. What a lucky man.......

I love this tribute to a very classy couple. I was very sad to hear of Paul Newmans death last Sept. Men like that are very hard to find these days! I truly admired the way both Paul and Joanne handled the fame and "fortune" that comes with being a high profile movie star. The contributions they made to help disabled children and people in need, is so admirable and touching. Paul remains one of my fav actors and will always be my real life hero!

Brangelina who? THIS was one stunning couple! Paul Newman looked like a greek God and Joanne Woodward was always gorgeous on the inside and out.
