@RonaldRichardson3 You've got to be kidding. The earth is VASTLY older than 6,000 years. That's just preposterous to even PRETEND it's anywhere close to that. It doesn't make you a Christian to believe utter foolishness and PROVEN lies just because they're in the Bible.

God's grace is not "through faith in Jesus Christ", Her grace extends to people who don't believe.

Sin was never "master" of people, and we STILL live under God's one law--love one another.

@RonaldRichardson3 That is ridiculous, of course. From old testament "law" about women on their period being "unclean" to stoning children and shrimp scampi being a "sin", MUCH of scripture is absolutely NOT "God-breathed." Do you follow all of Leviticus? Do you believe the earth is 8,000 years old and that the sun revolves around the earth?

YOU are not giving wholesome teaching, you're misusing the Bible for purposes that aren't loving and Christian, but are hateful and divisive.

@RonaldRichardson3 I do trust in the Lord, NOT in my understanding, OR that of other people. Jesus said the law is to treat others with love, so when you bring me cherry-picked verses from a book that claims I should kill my son by throwing rocks at him for using swear words at his video games, I trust Jesus, not you or your misuse of the bible. I read the Bible, but it's not literal word of God, it's words of PEOPLE.

God gave us a brain on purpose, time for you to start using it.

@RonaldRichardson3 And these are all man-made lines, quoting not God but Paul of Tarsus. There is no such thing as "sexual sin," there is only sin. The idea that God will torture people in hell for any reason is a sick lie, and that you intentionally choose the hateful, bigoted falsehood of "Practice homosexuality" shows how unChristian this is. That is NOT what Paul said, the word "homosexuality" didn't exist. People do NOT "practice" homosexuality, they are gay and it's NOT a sin.

This vile little old man has made shed loads of money from his books & is the darling of the US Fundamentalist Christian Right. I'm certain he fought for freedom in WW2 (as did millions of ordinary, decent, human beings the world over) but now his vision & the vision of other US Christians like him (that of the US becoming a Theocratic Dictatorship) betrays the very freedoms so many people gave their lives to defend. He's good Right Wing fodder but his anti gay stance disgusts me & many others!
