  • Nice video there mate! I've currently got three oscars about 3-4 months old @ 3 inches.. am thinking of getting a JD for the tank also before they get to big and they can grow up together. I've come to love the color of the JD's do u know if u are bound to have territorial issues introducing a JD into a tank with 3 oscars already. They are still only small so im hoping they'll go together alright. I've heard if u move the deco's around a bit this helps to distract the fish when u introduce them?

  • @jimstah21 yea you will most likely have some issues depending on the size of your tank even my tank here was too small for one oscar so if you have three you will need something larger than 100 gallons that being said the only issue i had was the female jack dempsey always nippin the others. when i removed the oscar the j.d's had babies and every 2 or 3 months they would breed again and she used to get real agressive during mating and ended up killing the male

  • Your tank is amazing, you clearly are a true fish lover. Well done on your set up ! It's one of the best tanks I have ever seen.

  • @jimstah21 you shouldn't listen to what people think, you'll have to find for yourself. But as the date when you posted this comment, still, you could give it a shot. But Keep in mind if your going to do it again, the smaller Oscar is, the highly chance of the Jack bullying him is great, I had a Smaller one, with another Oscar, a convict, a jewel and jack, they bullied him SO much, the back fin was teared up and scratch EVERYWHERE. Its up to you, but My bigger Oscar, and jack are doing good. :)

  • Nice i have a baby jds an a baby oscar the only problem is the fight!

  • verry nice tank man i got a 8 in oscar named gizmo and a 4 inch jd

  • great tank.. i upgraded from a 10 gallon and then to a 55 gallon. I had the 55 gallon for 2 years. Now I have a 75 gallon. I had 2 oscars and a rubbernose pleco from the 55 gallon. I have 2 lutino oscars 8 1/2 inches,1 sailfin pleco,1 rubbernose pleco,1 albino catfish, and a crayfish.I know it's not many fish but, I bought the 75 gallon for the oscars to grow. Possibly they might be a male and female.I hope .....

  • wow hes getti big you will need a bigger tank soon :P. Oscars can get 45cm :P

  • nice setup and oscar
