Redlight violations caught on Redflex redlight camera system in Knightdale, NC
Lights is set to normal NC DOT standards, including a 4-second yellow.
There are two loops in the pavement. The system calculates your speed and if you're going to run the light the system takes three photos: (1) your car with the front bumper at the white line, (2) your car through the intersection and (3) your license plate number. The system also records 12-seconds of video: 6-seconds before you cross the white line and 6-second after.
