  • GOOD! I can't imagine the 4th of July without the spirit of resistance to the tyranny of unconstitutional taxation. The Supreme Court has ruled in Stanton v. Baltic Mining Co. (1916) that the 16th Amendment did not authorize a direct unapportioned "direct tax", which is exactly what today's income tax is!
