I am Atanas Talevsk grandson .It's not true that he did n have any Family .Hi have his family: his mother, two brothers and father and many other family members. The mother die 2 years after Him. I learned the secrets of photography from my uncle 20 years ago.

It is a pity that after 2 years there is not a stir in this town to do something for Atanas. Only religious, war personalities and the like are praised here, but never ordinary people who have done so much to promote culture with their work. Let's do something!

He does have a family (sisters, brothers etc.) and seems like they got hold of the photographical heritage. It is very difficult to find contact with them and several people, mostly foreigners, have been asking around in Ohrid how to buy negatives. I don't know whether when bought the heritage will be also preserved or simply traded with somehow. I would like to make an effort to publish a book about him which I think is the least one from Ohrid should do for him.
