1973.,,,.,,, it was good to be 17. They stayed at the St Georges hotel Liverpool, we got in and located Andy Mac kays (the saxophonists ) room ,yeh he was sweet.

Saw Roxy Music live in Athens, Greece, in July 2006 and they ended the concert with this one - it was absolutely amazing!!

Brilliant! Still the only band that I wish I could have been a member of. They seemed to arrive from another planet, sounding like no-one else. Incidentally, there is an article explaining the references in this song on a website called R*xyrama.c*m. Quaglino's is in Mayfair, London. I think it opened in the 1920s. It closed for a while, but reopened in the 90s.
