Barlow Bradford's Utah Chamber Artists sing "Magnificat" by Arvo Part for their 2009 Spring Collage Concert at the Cathedral of the Madeleine in Salt Lake City. Photography by Dallas Graham from UCA's 2008 European Tour.
Very nicely done. Very moving. Good control on the diminuendi. Many (most?) choirs take it so slowly that the lines sag. Even the Shaw performance doesn't hold the tension. And no tension = no structure. Pärt's indication is quarter note = 90. This is a bit faster, but not much.
Beautiful Beyond Words!!!

Oops, I accidently hit the 'dislike' button. Purely unintentional! In fact, I have added it to my favorites.
