High Quality- In every railfan's career, there will be days where things just go wrong. Today was one of those days for me....approximately 3 hours was spent attempting to catch Norfolk Southern train YPMO-01 in Morrisville, PA, expecting to catch the train here then catch it street-running....instead the train came from the opposite direction and nothing else came. There was no horn action out of this train, which helped make the catch a little worse...but hey, this can happen to everyone.

Locomotives:
NS GP38-2 #5287
NS GP38-2 #5269

Hope you enjoy!

  • Awesome video, dude! I had an odd feeling they used 5287 today. I'm sorry you didn't get them on the way east, I missed them too. Must've passed you or something, I pulled into the parking lot and saw the tankers rolling down the line like at the end of your video. It seems like they just snapped back into their old timing, they drifted to around an 11:00 average the last few weeks. Probably came down at around 10:00 or 10:15 today. Great video, hope to see you out there sometime!

  • @TrainiacProductions Thanks man! Yeah it was a shame....odd though because I got there at 9:40 and that train came through at about 10:10...

  • Oh, 3 hrs. Didn't read carefully. Man, that stinks!

  • @boberttrain831 lol. Just out of curiosity, what weekends did you go to see the this train? Because I remember you going twice very recently correct?

  • nice! I like jointed rail!

  • @srr7312 I was right haha!

  • @srr7312 First trip here was Sunday May 2nd. Latest trip was Sunday, June 13th. When I went in May, the train came through around 10:30-10:40. When I went last weekend, it didn't come through until around 11:40.

  • Nice video! I'm sorry it didn't turn out so well, but you're luck to have gotten 5287 and 5269! How long did you wait?

  • Oh man, sorry to hear your bad luck in cathing this train. At least you did get to see it, though. Plus, that is some great power.:)
