@sawtine I feel you! I was not there but remember being at home watching this game and what I did afterwards, that is a moment.

I WAS THERE THAT NIGHT. I was there every night...year after year of heartache. Still we returned hopeful. This night appeared as though the spurs would blow it again. Trailing the entire game, with only nine seconds left, Sean Elliot, who we later find out is severely sick and desperately needing a kidney transplant, not only hits the near impossible shot, but pushes back at the tide, and gives the spurs the momentum to redeem themselves forever.MONSTROUS ROAR and not a dry eye in the building

My friend that passed away was watching the game this game with me. After the Spurs started losing in the first quarter I remember him saying "Sean needs to hit 6 threes tonight if were going to win." The 6th one was the best one! RIP Chris W.

u beat me to the punch lol
I cleared my eyes and looked next to me at my friend Mark and we were both balling like babies. Everyone in the Dome that night was crying. We all knew that our time was finally here and the Spurs would take it all this year. The amount of elation is inexplicable to anyone who hadn't been through the heartache of all the previous seasons. I have never cried at any other sporting event. It wasn't just the game, the moment, the shot, it was finally our time. Thank you for everything Sean.
