Updated version. Yes, it's corny, I know, but I'm proud, regardless.
A 15-year-old lesson horse at Rusmill Farm Stables in Columbus, NJ, shows his love of hard rock music (except Lenny Kravitz, who he had loved the night before, but didn't seem to this day. Man, he was going for "Are You Gonna Go My Way," and almost everything I sang). Note: He is no longer lame. I was to lazy to update the video.
Disclaimer: No horses were abused in the making of this movie. You are free to make conspiracy theories if you are in the United States or other countries with freedom of speech. I do not know why he did it. I had discovered it the night before. He was put in early because his horseshoes came off and I was singing while filling his water bucket. Ask no questions, I will tell you no lies.
The famous anthropologist, author of the "Naked Ape," as well as "Babywatching," "Catwatching," and "Dogwatching," Desmond Morris notes in his book, "Horsewatching:"
"...head bobbing, in which the horse the down and back repeatedly. This is usually the animal's way of increasing its range of vision and improving its understanding of objects directly in front of it."
This leads me to beleive that Dodger did not understand why a person would come up to him in his stall in the morning and start singing hard rock music, so he began to evaluate the situation in a way any other sensible horse would.
That jumps to the conclusion that Dodger is a sensible horse. Although it is true for the most part, he starts to many fights because he gets spooky and odd when he realizes there are cars on the turnpike. Why he was about to kick Dakota, the 20-year-old Morgan mare, I don't know.
He probably learned his lesson. We noticed he was lame on his left side recently. He probably started a fight with the ponies. Never a smart idea.
Go dodger!
