  • The motor is a brand new 35HP Briggs & Stratton. The stump had inclusions that would have wrecked a saw chain. I had a problem with the locally supplied clutch because I was trying to adjust the hook up speed. I am still using the machine in basically the same configuration. I can now guarantee the Tornado pockets for 6 months or $100k NZ turnover which ever comes first. It is a safe, fast easy to use machine.

  • Why all the negative comments on here, nice machine mate

  • @50molepupsrocking

I have been working on (testing etc) this Stump Grinding concept for over 10 years. It really does work on handle bar machines. Just look at the root chase part of the video. It is real speed!

  • Great if it actually cut the stump as quick as you try to represent! How long did it actually take you? With all the "cut & splice" sections, How many minutes did it actually take you to chaw that stump down.

Why the heck would one not simply take a chainsaw and cut the thing down to practical stump level before starting?

  • @GreatGardner001 Less than 12 minutes of engine on time, start to finish

  • I've used the Dosko alot more than the Rayco so i am more comfortable with the Dosko. I find the Dosko easier to service but the Rayco is probably better built.

  • I bet you used to be a dentist... am I right?

  • What engine is in your grinder have you done any mods to it, I've got a Kohler command 25hp six months old and it doesn't perform like that cheers James.

  • @SuperDaveCroxton did u call in a locate ticket??

  • Why would you not cut it flush with the ground first? Thats the first thing i do when i stump grind

  • @SuperDaveCroxton Well, that is NOT what you represent it to be! You are representing it to be a 1 1/2 minute job with clever splicing!
