Take a tour of Lille Town Hall in Lille, France -- part of the World's Greatest Attractions travel video series by GeoBeats.

Nestled in the quaint, cobblestone squares and roads of Lille, France is the lofty Lille Town Hall and Belfry.

Built by renowned French architect, Emile Dubuisson the structure was erected between the years 1924 and 1932.

The building was made to mimic Flemish style houses that dominate the town, and presents a magnificent 340 foot tall bell tower, the tallest in Northern Europe.

Ornamenting the Great Hall are a series of pillars, adorned in floral designs, reaching 350 feet in length.

The Town Hall displays layered rows of rococo window panes and a tier of triangular gables on the roof.

Looking out over the town of Lille, the splendid Lille Town Hall and Belfry can be seen from anywhere in the city.
