The Crazy Fools of Race Driver GRID

Dear Santa, for Christmas, I want morons to stay away from racing games, literally.

What gives? I'm in a room, any room, there is always at least 1 little tit who decides slowing down on his own is just too arduous, instead he has to use some other player. Of course if that isn't enough, let's just go round the track, the wrong way. Fortunately this tactic fails most of the time, on the other hand, being a human obstacle does work in causing mass pile ups.

I challenge all players, to find a multiplayer room, where there isn't a huge pile up on the first corner. I mean, my first intentions was to create a lovely video offline, showing the great graphics, the wreckless AI and the great fun of GRID. Fuck that, why not create a video highlighting the lack of driving skill most drivers have? In fact, let's capitalize on it.

So, why you're reading this is beyond me, however if you're after a racing game that's 'realistic' go buy a Gran Turismo, if you're after a racing game that's supremely fun and has collisions every other corner then get GRID. As a car lover, I find Gran Turismo repetitive and far from realistic.

The car reacts the same, every, single, corner, you don't get the tail flipping out randomly and you don't get the adrenalin rush other games offer. Think of Gran Turismo as the walk in the park, nice, for a while. Now think of GRID as the motocross trial, take your pick.

I got the real game today... It's worse, don't even get me started on giving Koenigsegg and Zonda racing cars to a bunch of morons. It's still hilarious to see them piling into the first wall.

I think a good thing for racing games is that there should be no contact, like ghost cars on time trials for example for the first 20-30 seconds of a race...

i hate it when this happens, this is why i mainly play destruction derby coz u can race and hit people while trying to win and and its perfectly normal

(unless your that stupid twat who goes around the track the wrong way or just blocks and waits for you to come round a corner so they can crash into u )

i <3 grid, but some people really suck on it, and if you do accidentely make a crash (it can happen, you dont see someone, you mess up a corner and collect someone unintentionally) at least have the decency as i do if i mess up, which happens occationally to APOLOGISE via mic, rather than laugh or say it was there fault, like many players do....

Still great vid, highlighted some key issues, and whats everyones gamertag here? we can maybe get a session going with enough of us that is CRASH FREE!
