Good video...after scrubbing I used some shop towels to wipe the excess kerosene and grime off. Then I used the chain lube.

I had a Scot Oiler on my old bike. It was great and extended the life of the chain loads but I found I had oil on my tyre quite often. Any advice on how to clean the oil of your tyre. I don't need to explain how scary that can be!

You're going to need a non-polar, organic solvent to break up the oil. Acetone is great for spills, but I've never used it on my tyres. If I get grease on my tire, I'll clean it with diesel/kerosene and then take some nice long straight rides before doing anything outside of normal.
