  • I love Epcot but I was so disappointed when I went to the Canada Pavillion...I'm a proud canadian but I was embarrassed...They should have put a small replica of the CN tower and stuff like that as oppose to a parliment building...well at least they didn't put an igloo up...lol...ah well...Canada is an amazing place to live...woohoo!!

  • If they really want to make it realistic, they should cover the whole thing in ice. I know it's Florida, but it's Disney; they can figure it out.

  • @Vanyaloth Funny because the Candian Olympic team decided to wear that same red and black plaid on their scarves.

  • @Lindy1985 They only use period architecture in the pavilion. All traditional. The film in the pavilion makes fun of the stereotypes for a reason. I think it's a beautiful pavilion. And that's not supposed to be the parliament building. It's supposed to be based off of the Chateau Laurier. That's why it's titled the fictional name L'Hotel du Canada.

  • @coasterjudge They're all dressed as lumberjacks there. That's exactly the stereotype Disney went with.

  • @Vanyaloth How?

  • @coasterjudge And unfortunately that's exactly what they did :P

  • @Lindy1985 Consider yourself lucky. The Canada Pavillion was almost never buit. When building a new pavilion, Disney goes to the country's government for help on the project. The canadian government initially refused because they were afraid that Disney would go for the stereotypical lumberjacks.
