Grey Fluffy Clouds - The Orb Vocals Alan Parker
This just makes me laugh every time I hear it...Watford being my home town.
The Orb and Alan Parker (Simon Munnery Urban Warrior) did this for an Annie Knightingale Complmation Album Y4K.
"Little Fluffy Clouds" by The Orb was originally inspired by a startrek episode believe it or not , this was revealed by Alex patterson in an interview...the samples are said to come from interview with Rickie Lee Jones in which she recalls picturesque images of her childhood. Critics and fans sometimes attribute the odd nasal tonality of Jones' voice to drug use, though Jones later claimed that it was the result of a heavy cold. The samples are widely believed to have come from a conversation between Jones and Levar Burton on the children's television programme Reading Rainbow. but in fact originated from an interview disc that was issued with some promotional boxed copies of her album "Flying Cowboys". The interview was not actually conducted by Burton at all.

Hilarious parody! But as far as any sources I can find state, it wasn't from, or used in any, Star Trek (any generation) episodes. The burden of proof is on the person making the claim.

Hi pdxtosca
Well I would love to take up the challange but life is short and I have much to finish...
I have changed the description..which I agree did suguest it was taken from an episode, but I have seen an intrerview Alex patterson who said the inspiration for making the track was a Startrek episode....
Cheers for the comment though pdxtosca.......
Hope this Placates all trekies out there.....Knew I should not have used the word Startrek.....get some house in yer lives...

Oh, but girl in the original sounded sweet. I guess that's the difference between blokes from Britain and girls from Arizona. (Or boys from Arizona, I imagine).
