  • does the army pay for your medical bill if you are bitten by alligator at 2:10 ???

  • The Army will pay for your mediacl if you are bitten by a gator. To my knowledge noone has been bitten during the Florida phase. This particular gator was injured in the wild and is being nursed back to health.

  • Do they have free between this three phases?

  • The three phases are continuous. Once one phase is complete, it's time to pack up and move to the next phase.

  • Great hands? haven't like 20 sum people been killed during training?

  • @jjjflott the m-16's or the ranger? i would imagine he would get quite an ass chewing

  • @SideWays8Productions Yeah but with the world going the way it is a MEU might be the closest thing we have to the battlespace. Yes most branches can conduct an offensive operation, but because of the Marines close relationship with the Navy they are wherever there is a Carrier Battle Group and they arrive with a large amount of air power to back them up. So they might be our first in to be reinforced with what ever units we can mobilize quickly.

  • @goofoffproductions I know that. Which is what I'm kinda saying. The Marines are slowly losing their resourcefulness, now that almost any branch can land their forces in multiple ways.

  • @SideWays8Productions Air dropping tanks isn't economical and besides the largest amphibious operation in human history was conducted by US Soldiers and not Marines.

  • @goofoffproductions Lol, airborne can drop tanks, vehicles, supplies, everything. I've seen it done before. Of course there will always need to be beach landings. But thats never the "tip of the spear" assault. like you said, it's just to resupply and reinforce.

  • @SideWays8Productions Why assault a beach? Because Airborne are shit out of luck if they don't get resupplied. Remember Arnhem? How about Normandy? Guess we wasted all those troops on the beaches when we could have just had all our forces jump over the defenses. If the Airborne jump into an area they need to be resupplied at some point. And the only way to resupply them suficiently is by land. Oh and they have no heavy weapons.

  • I don't think i would have a problem in Florida considering i live here.

  • @rwpanfil Marines have been proven obsolete and unneeded since 1903, after the invention of the Airplane. Why assault the beach when you can fly over it? Marines are exactly what they say...just a title.

  • Rwpanfil of course they aren't marines, that's an offensive title to give the rangers. They are better than marines. They aren't trained to be sloppy like marines are
