Never tried the dog hook launch on a C-kite. Try the old school way to fold the edge of the kite, put some sand on it and once you balanced your kite, you pull the lines tight, the sand falls off and the kite launches. Should be videos around showing you if you haven't seen or tried this. I did it with my old Naish V4 back in the days. Good luck!

Works in strong winds too, just be careful. De-power more and make sure you balance the kite properly. I have launched my 7m2 in 30+ knots! But if you're not sure, don't try! And do hook in before you launch!

Two normal dog hooks, 7E each in your local pet store. Works pretty well if you hook in before you launch that is...
