I presume it was due their great motherland collapsed during the previous year. This song is one of the most epic songs of the Red Army, an expression of pure strength, pride and patriottic heroism. Since december 1991, after USSR's collapse, Russia lost all of its pride, all of its force, as a country under sales. I bet that woman felt what was happening to her country.

Did you see the woman at right at 1:37 ? She looks as she was going to cry. In addition at 1:21 the guy's face looks as if he was dreaming the Soviet times or he was missing Soviet era or he wants not to care anyhing anymore because of lost of his state. Anyway,good video,good share. Thanks!
