Nearly a month after the Allentown Fire Department received its new Truck 1 it runs its first working fire. The KME Arielcat was put into service on July 4th replace the old truck 1 which has been out of service for about 6 months. Finally in the early morning hours of July 27, 2008 the crew got to put it through its paces at a two alarm fire on North Jefferson St.

  • im not sure but we do that too but no that high our truck is lifted to fott and lowered to a half inch or less of the ground im not sure whats there sop on putting it up is

  • it is an auto stabilizing feature on the truck so it lifts it all the way up and then brings it down to a safe level position.
