This video clip shows how to download and program the SPEAKall! app to use on an iPad. SPEAKall! was developed by the Purdue University EPICS Department to help children with special needs learn the process of constructing sentences. This app specifically targets children with severe communication disorders who need intervention in the area of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC). It can be used within an exchanged-based communication protocol to transition from picture exchange to AAC on an iPad. The EPICS team at Purdue invites users to share their experiences and make suggestions for further development of this app.
