    id really like to do a study on what makes people like certain music. i just learned about the smiths. i absolutely cant get enough of them. i know no one in my personal life that likes them, and im just like, how can this be!!!!!

    I know they were pretty damn popular in the US in the 80s, but here it says just as "Elvis was to the 50s and the beatles the 60s ..."& so to england, the smiths were to the 80s"... does anyone have first hand experience in England during the 80s? The beatles??! Come on. That's gotta be exaggerating a little bit.
