A man named Prince Emir Assad mysteriously appeared at the Red Cross Pro/Celebrity tennis tournament. He arrived in a limousine, wearing a burnoose over his tennis outfit and was accompanied by a strange entourage. A supposed Arab millionaire, he proceeded to play tennis with Penny Marshall, Sonny Bono, and pro-players Bill Scanlan and Vijay Amritraj.
One of Abel¹s long-time compatriots, Frank Murgalo, played the role of Prince Assad.
