(Season 1, Episode 1) In the series pilot, Blanche has been dating a man named Harry, and the others think he's about to propose. Rose worries where she will live, and, later, suspects that there is something off about Harry. Meanwhile, Dorothy must contend with her mother Sophia, who comes to stay with the girls when her retirement home burns down. It later turns out that Harry is married to six women at the same time, he is later arrested by police.

This show did not end on a wedding, does anyone remember the Golden Palace?? The show continued in a hotel for 24 episodes

Dorothy is by far the funniest golden girl in my opinion... her sarcasm is just hilarious.

i just recently discovered golden girls. i was bored one time during vacation in florida, flipping through channels in the suite and there was nothing on. i come across this show and i was ah what the hell lesse and i fell in love with it!!! such a heartwarming atmosphere! so funny and sassy too! too bad netflix doesnt have GG in instant play....

I think they have targeted GG. Seems like they delete all the great GG channels but there are a lot of other shows out that they have not touched.
