I bought a new camera before this concert, but it doesn't record in mive editing format, so no fancy titles anymore. :[

By, Daniel Montoya Jr.
May 14, 2009
Gloria Logan Auditorium, Slame High School
Canton, Michigan
Conducted By, Martin Montoya

Another unfortunate thing is that out other great director, Martin Montoya, was only a temporary substitute director for the year. His hard work consisted of working with the Marching Band, which amazingly made 11th place at nationals despite being behind two months because of the departure of our other director, Marc Whitlock. He also directed the Concert and Symphony Bands, which also improved dramatically this year, Martin Montoya will be missed in the PCEP Band program and will always be welcome to come back whenever he wants. However, he said we'd still see him around, :]

  • isnt it suppost to be played in the dark?

  • @nojonoah12 I don't think so. The director in this video is a close relative of the composer. I think he would've done that if it was supposed to be. But I could be wrong. Either way, special effects are never required for a piece to be played well. :P
