  • I met May. She's a wonderful person.

  • It almost sounds like Yoko was setting John up with someone she could trust, like for safekeeping, until the time she could and John would get back together.

  • John liked women... Liked sex, cheating and lying to them about his love... It happened many times before... Since he was a teenager he wrote poems for girls that he later left for other women. He did it to May and she still is so deluded and believes that she was special... He called you a lost weekend May... You should start thinking that the man doesn't respect you! Only Cynthia ans Yoko meant something... And I am actualy not jealous because he was not a good husband.

  • May Pang keeps insisting that John loved her, but he left her for Yoko. She is naive is delusional.

  • @observer9670 after about 1971 he had no interest in rock and roll like he used to,('thanks' to yoko). She also got him back in touch with julian.

  • According to May, her salary was cut off when she and John left for LA. Since John's recording and songwriting royalties were tied up in court, they survived on a $10K advance he got from Capitol Records. Remember, this was 1973, $10K went a lot further then. John was getting an allowance from the Apple receivership, but that was to pay Yoko's expenses at the Dakota.

  • From what I've read, John and May shared a passion for rock and roll, especially 50's and 60's rock.. Yoko hated rock and roll. This may seem like a trivial point, but it was very important to John, since rock and roll was his life. He could talk to May about things that Yoko was dismissive of. May encouraged John to reconnect with friends in the business he'd lost touch with like Phil Spector, and, of course, Paul McCartney.

  • @ZZqezza maybe she just wants to set things strait, she loved john and she has the right to say what happened. plus paul is still alive, it would be awkward for her to write what happened with paul and her. she walked in on him with another woman. that would be awkward to write about.

  • John made fun of her and she still is so naive to believe in his "words"... she should look at the facts... And not his wods... He said many things to many women in his life... ONLY actions should be important... but women are really stupid sometimes... naive...

  • Come on May. Tell us what Yoko had that all the other women in the world did not. That guy was so crazy about her. She sends her hubby off with you and your a younger woman and she snaps her fingers after a year and a half and he dumps you like a hot potato to get back to her. What do you think she had? I wish I could bottle it.

  • what did she turn into? a whale!
