Why You Should be using FourSquare or Gowalla

Social check-in's are the new thing. It's a simple task of updating an application; either FourSquare or Gowalla letting people know where you are. Upon check-in, you receive points, mayorships, free food, discounts etc. It's a cool service, the idea is that by updating where you are socially your Facebook and Twitter friends are encouraged to meet with you, at that locations. It's neat.
