I did a speech on him & his life back in my SR yr of H.S. When I mentioned him going to a liquor store on his lawn mower my teacher about fell over laughing in disbelief she couldn't believe it. I wish I would've found this song earlier just to prove it to her.
George Jones is my Idol in life, the greatest Country singer in history.
You don't have to worry about songs that ain't true or have no heart with Jones. He's all for the reality and he's willing to sing about his life, unlike others
