@alexfromportland I dont know if its true, but I read in a book, Western ukraine is the most ukrainalized and they speak only ukrainian, and really hate russian culture, but contrary in east and south ukraine theres good size russian population, and that everyone in south and east speaks only russian, supposily but a divided country.
