Hey, look at it this way, $15 for a boat ride isn't bad. That looked like the most fun part of your whole trip from what I saw. I'm sorry that she asked for so much money and treated you poorly, but it could have been a LOT worse and you didn't have to pay how much she asked you for. You should have just walked away at that point; I doubt she would have been able to stop you.

If you travel anywhere in Asia, excluding Japan/Singapore, prepare to be fucked over by EVERYONE you meet. I've seen cons in Korea, China, Vietnam, Thailand, The Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Cambodia. Yet I've lived in Japan for 8 years and have experienced the polar opposite in terms of values. Just recently, a bank employee visited my house to personally apologise for short-changing me by 1,000 yen and give me a handwritten letter of apology + deep bow. Eat your heart out Thailand!

in thailand you have be careful how you talk too, i know that cus i lived there. a less old laden didn't sold sextrade because that can thing happened over there.
