This was shot through the windshield of my '93 Civic (B18C1 swap, N/A) with an HTC Sensation during an early afternoon session of the 2011 Customer Appreciation lapping day at High Plains Raceway, CO on Dec. 28 2011. I'm on REALLY old/hard 225/45-15 Hoosier R6s. My suspension is very basic: Koni Sport dampers front (race-valved) and rear (off-the-shelf valving), 850# F, 550# rear. OEM Integra GSR front swaybar, no rear bar; lots of negative camber front and rear. This is the first time I've driven the track since the repaving/repairs in corners 5, 6, 8, and 13.
At 0:25, the NB Miata puts two off on the outside of T3 (but recovers from this minor off fine). I chase down the 911, stayed close through T4/T5, and was thinking of passing on the outside between T5 and T6, then thought better of it, and hung back to be safe. At 1:06, the 911 gets a little loose exiting T6, and that apparently convinced the Porsche driver to give it up, and let that annoying black & white Civic on by. :)
My best (recorded) lap that day was a 2:11.302, from start/finish line to start/finish line.
@colodude18: cool, I did watch your videos (the picture-in-picture multi angle is cool!). If your buddy has any decent shots of my car carving through T1, please ask him to send them to egbeater@gmail.com—thanks very much!

Nice driving, I put down a best of 2:11 that day as well. I was in the black Cobalt SS/TC. I think my buddy make have taken some sick shots of your car in turn 1. Check out my videos from that day under my screen name!
