Tom Miller speaks with Dr. Jim Rellas about heart disease, stress tests, and coronary arteriograms (CTA). Stress tests are only able to detect a 70% blockage or higher. They also have a high error or miss rate. CTAs on the other hand allow a cardiologist like Dr. Rellas to detect what's in your arteries right now, even if you don't have a significant blockage.

For more information on a CTA test, visit http://www.heartfirst.md/medical-services/diagnostic-tests/ct-angiogram/ for more information.
