  • @fluffy1931 Just going by what I read of some German woman pilot, (can't remember her name, not H Reitsch). Messerschmitt made less than 200 of these beasts, very well possible one made it into '45. But, I will concur that the prevailing thought on the matter is that all 323s' were out of it by the end of '44.

  • @kolbpilot lol, so much 'bs' dude. No 323's survived in service beyond summer 1944.

  • This plane was forgotten from World War II generalist books (books who speak on weapons and armement). It need to be know, thanks igorks for this wonderfull video ;) !

I had drive it on "Forgotten Hope : Secret Weapon", a japanese modification of "Forgotten Hope", mod for Battlefield 1942.

  • good in seeing this video !

  • Lol, well imagine how hard it'd be to move such gigantic un-assisted control surfaces. You're literally pulling three tons every time you TRY to move the stick xD. Then again, the german "Master race" would have been able to handle the controls no problem. Buncha giant brutes lol.

You gotta wonder what any large german craft, or jet for that matter, would have been like to manuver. How many control sticks must be bent some degrees each way :P

  • @peepeevagi There was another female German pilot (I tried to find her name again, couldn't. Wasn't Hanna Reitsch though) who flew in to Berlin in '45 in a shot up Ju 52 (I think). She flew out in a Me 323 who's pilot was wounded along with a bunch of other wounded. She said she found the biggest bruiser among the bunch to help her with the controls & got the Hell out of there.

  • A famous female german test pilot flew the very early model. She said it'd take a herculean man to use the controlls. She flew almost entirely with the tab adjusters lol.

  • @igorks I only know this song cus of resident evil xD

  • I wonder if any German pilot really looked forward to flying one of those. Sure, you do it for country and the mission. But fully loaded, probably over loaded at times, I'll bet that thing was a handful.
