10.12.2011. Portland C.G requested Lifeboat assistance to a report of a 22 year old ill seafarer onboard the 185 meter product tanker anchored in Weymouth Bay.
ALB paged launched and preceded.
Once on scene the ALB was taken alongside the vessel and the casualty transferred down her accommodation ladder onto the Lifeboat.
Casualty was taken back to the station to await arrival of the ambulance.
Wyke rescue officers also in attendance
Once ambulance arrived, casualty was released to there care.
