The first scientist hit the nail on the head when he said scientists don't try and od investigations proving current theories, but try and do science using new theories and solving new problems. That is exactly how science works, and how it should work.

@TheKorban I don't know much about the other two, but "which came first, the protein or the DNA" I can say: Probably neither. RNA was most likely first because it can act as both.

@JungleJargon define "function"
-
JungleJargon must be going hog wild on this one. can't wait to read his comments on this episode

@ about 17 minutes - Judgement - that sums it up alright. It's all the creationists do, pass judgement. Must be easier than learning facts I guess.
-
function exists naturally without a maker, therefore no maker.
"it happens all the time"? actually it doesn't Blind couple having a non-blind kid is unlikely.
EVERYTHING in nature doesn't have a maker.
machines are inanimated matter produced by humans, not gods.
a copy of a book is not new information.
Mutations applies to alterations in the genome, not earthquakes. you are doing a category mistake logical fallacy. try again.
-
@transtlantic How do functions prove there is no maker?
Blind people can have kids that are not blind. It happens all the time.
There is nothing that does not have a Maker.
You can't have an machines without having a maker.
If you make a copy of a book, where is the new information?
If an earthquake mutates your house, is that a good thing or a bad thing?
-
Ofc i proved there is no maker. ALL functions in nature prove the inexistence of a maker.
"digital orders" - you are just making crap up.
what about your parents being blind? you clearly ignore basic genetics.
ALL things in nature exist without a maker - fact. Hydrogen functions is proof that no maker is required.
ALL mechanisms in nature are proof there is no maker.
Duplication of info is indeed new information. "does harm"? what harm is there?
"bad things"'? where?
-
@JungleJargon 'I proved that there is a Maker because functions have a maker.' That's not proof of a maker. That's proof of your ignorance and folly. Have you ever heard of the Urey-Miller experiment? They simulated the early Earth and they synthesized numerous organic compounds from inorganic precursors, including more than 20 amino acids. These molecules have function, you can't deny that. Please open your narrow mind and think before you speak or write.
@transtlantic It's no use. Just accept the fact that there are always going to be these "intoxicated" people that cannot get over themselves. They look in the mirror and actually say to themselves, "I deserve Heaven." If I could define religion in one word, it would be SELFISHNESS.

@Eye2EyeIIIV CreationISM is based on a 2000+ year old book with EXTREMELY questionable sources whilst the theory of evolution is based on hundreds of years of scientific research. The difference between Evolution and Creationism is simple: evolution doesn't claim to have all the answers, in fact you'll be hard pressed to find ANY scientist who will say we know everything, where as creationists already know that answer to the unknowable: "God did it"
Sorry buddy, that's not how science works.
