@videoguy4u I never lived on Alcatraz but I've been a volunteer there for nine years. Yes, I have met the Stuckers. I did indeed meet Willie and he told me that he was in the yard during the '46 riot. I may have met you as well, if you came with your uncle to the island a few years back. Willie was a great guy and I was very sorry when he passed. He was part of history. I enjoy his book.

@zazozung When did you live on Alcatraz?? Do you know Chuck Stucker he was raised on the Rock. Willie Radkay inmate #666 was my great uncle. Did you know him?

I knew Darwin Coon and he knew me. I sat with him for about 2 hrs interviewing him aboout his life in prison. This was to help him promote his book. I got burned on using his video for the documentary. Now that he is gone I will use his story for my new documentary. Thanks for the reply.
Please take a look at my Great Uncles Book. Willie Radkay #666 Alcatraz

@lambertbball5 Was Morris really your uncle? I work on Alcatraz and would love to talk to you if he was.

@videoguy4u Darwin was not an ass. He spent a long time in prison and didn't trust people whom he didn't know. He purchased drinks for me.

@sabMysterrr It always knows

With a name like that he would get the shit teased out of him if he was in Australia because here in Australia there is a city called Darwin and Darwin has a large aboriginal population and aboriginals are blacks and coon is a racist derogatory name for blacks which is why in Australia he would get teased big time with a name like that.

He was not friendly to strangers but that is a survival skill he learned in prison. He was not trying to be rude. If he knew you, he was nice to you.

His book is quite fascinating. He managed to turn his life around. Never killed anyone. He was sent to Alcatraz for a botched bank robbery where a hostage was taken. This alone made his sentencing more severe. He'd be the first to tell you that he definitely was a thief... just that he was a lousy one and that is why he kept going to jail!
We were there the same day. We bought a copy of the book and had him sign it. His story is very interesting. I loved it.
