In the Army National Guard, representatives from every state and US territory assisted in rescue efforts in Louisiana following the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.

This is who we are. This is why we serve.

  • Nice video BUT wasnt it the army who disarmed people protecting their life, family and private property from looters? After the civilians weapons were removed, mobs returned and looted those who had protected their property the first time. The people's 2nd Amendment rights were violated and weapons never returned. Why doesnt this video show that?????? Why isnt the complete truth shown in this pretty video? learn more: militantpatriot com

  • Army will always come in, its the reason why people sleep peacefully for one more day. Ten hut!

  • Bless the ones who stepped into the La.& Ms.Gulf coasts,Twilight Zone, post Katrina.

  • I find this a lil ironic.....

  • That was such an awesome video! I almost made me break a tear.

It shows how great the military is and how its not just about Iraq.

  • You have to join a service that's right for you. Don't be afraid to do research and ask around. I love the Guard because I'm able to serve while working in my community. Many people love it because they can go to college at the same time that they serve AND get paid for it. It's a big decision, but it's your choice. The fact that you want to serve your country is very admirable. Good luck in finding a career path that's right for you!
