  • I can't get my film advance lever to move. It's really stuck and I can't even load the film.

Sorry for the late reply. If the shutter will not fire. As in it's stuck also then you may have a bad one. One faults of the newer x-700's is capacitor failure.

  • @84hachi I have the original X-700 from 1981. By the way, do you own any medium format cameras? Any twin lens reflex cameras?

  • @The1970sInfatuate

I only have Minolta SLR's and Rangefinders.

  • hey, i just inherited my dad's minolta camera, and he had one spoiled lens and one good lens. my question is, where can i get the spoiled lens fix? and is there any place where i can get lens for this camera? thanks...

sorry if my comment is not relevant to yr video. thanks.

If spoiled you mean fungus. No it cannot be repaired. Ebay is your best bet to find lenses.

  • Hey 84hachi, thanks for the excellent video. I just bought an X-700 in absolutely mint condition, and also two lenses (MD 35 f/2.8, MD 50 f/1.4). Can't wait to get my hands on it!

I wouldn't know UK shops. I would guess a antique shop? But, your best bets online is KEH and B&H Photo websites.
