Nope. Quite comfortable to the touch. There is a mild buzzing sensation, like holding a fly in your cupped hand when you place your hand near the glass but not quite touching. These things were made to be interactive sculptures

@mikeelizalde Try Information Unlimited (online supplier) or Wayne Strattman with Strattman Studios (online) in Boston. Bill Parker is still in Stamford, CT and this mixture/image is published by him as "Modern Frequencies"

It's mostly xenon. There may be a trace amount of color enhancer but Parker has never revealed exactly what additive he uses with xenon to enhance the blue color.

Thanks. Nothing else moves quite as fast ( or looks as intimidating) as ionized xenon.
