what might you get if you mixed up Sxrillex, Future man, a little Aphex twin and Jack DeJohnette, and made a 3 minute live performance using Ableton Live as a sonic platform? DJ SEAP (aka nigel sifantus) gives you a little taste on this improvised track "Ladies and Gentlemen". All sounds were created by SEAP as small loop segments, with nearly all the sounds created from scratch in Native Instrument's Massive. Many thanks to the people at http://www.massivesynth.com for all the amazing tips and great sound design community. The sounds are then either mapped in Ableton's Drum Rack as 1 shot samples with different settings to be played live like an MPC. other sounds are loops mapped out on the session screen and triggered using a Novation Launchpad. No global quantization is used on any of the loops so all the sounds are played live by the fingertips. Finally the amazing tool Touchable for the iPad is used as a mixer and effect controller in spots. The potential of this devise is endless. have you changed gum pads on your MPD24?

@mei314teru Yes, there is a site called mpcstuff.com that sells all sorts of upgrades, parts, and accessories. The pads are called "Fat Pads", are double the thickness, and also come with cork inserts to increase the sensitivity. You have to take the entire thing apart to install it though, almost every screw.
