  • What are the exact measurements in this recipe?

  • I don't remember which recipe that I used in the video. Although I occasionally use a prepared mix, I usually use a scratch recipe. My favorite is a mix of cornmeal and whole wheat flour:

2 cups medium ground cornmeal, such as Bob's Red Mill stone ground.

1/2 cup of whole wheat flour

    1/4 cup of sugar

    2 tablespoons of baking powder

1 large egg (I have lots of duck eggs, which are great)

    2 tablespoons of olive oil

Add enough water or milk to make a thick batter.

  • @pioneercookery Oooh, that sounds really nice. I will try this recipe. Thanks for responding. =)

  • :D

  • @flatliner35 Oh, ok. Thanks. I made this with Buckwheat flour, milk, and egg whites. It turned out pretty good.

  • @cenon1 He used a pre-mixed bag of corn bread mix, and you just add the milk and egg to the mix. Much faster for those who have very little time to prepare.
