  • @datruchosen julian jackson is regarded as the best p4p hardest puncher. And now a days there was also edwin valero who won 27 fights with 27 ko's

  • @studplayrico Wilfredo Gomez!!! p4p, maybe the hardest puncher in the history of the sport. He just could straight up crack!!! HIS RECORD IS RIDICULOUS... 90+ percent win/KO ratio... who does that?! Who? Julian Jackson is up there, maybe Gerald McClellan. Gomez, though; he had fucking sledgehammers for fists. And Edwin Rosario was a BEAST in the 80's... solid skills. They just don't make 'em like they used to... that's for sure.

  • @daTruChosen I certainly won't argue that. :)

  • @daTruChosen I concur, people of PR forgot how great Carlos Ortiz was. Ortiz is without doubt is of the best lightweights of all time. He can be mentioned in the same sentence with the name of Duran. Here is my list of great PR fighters,

Carlos Ortiz, Gomez, Benitez, Trinidad (only because of the competition) Cotto, Rosario, Camacho, Sixto Escobar, Cocoa Kid and Pedro Montanez.

  • @TechMaven There is no argument. He IS the best counterpuncher... EVER!!!

  • @studplayrico Benitez was a superior fighter. It kills me to hear folks say the best Puerto Rican fighter of all time is a toss-up between Trinidad and Cotto. Neither of them could hold Benitez's jock strap. That said, although Benitez's defensive skills were spectacular, his counterpunching was only slightly above average. Toney's counters were so fluid, natural, and automatic, you couldn't afford to miss anything against him because you were bound to eat uppercuts and straight rights.

  • @daTruChosen Wilfred Benitez could match Toney on counterpunching. Especially on the ropes. The only thing about about Benitez was that he was lazy. Talking about training 14 days for the Leonard fight and the fight was very close until the TKO that Benitez took from Leonard.

  • @withTEHRAN lmao
