Originally-it-was-160something.....Then,-in-'89-Bernstein-slowed-the-speed-because-it-made-more-sense-with-the-play.....I-remember-when-we-played-this-in-High-school,-I-was-the-band-librarian-and-we-had-two-conductor-scores....one-slow-and-one-fast.....I-gave-him-the-fast-one....:D

we played this my freshmen year in Wind Ensemble.... good job guys, wish youd have taken it a little faster though haha

overall...not a bad job at all...I'm just a bit disappointed that the french horns didn't step it up! It really needs way more french horn sound...oh well...this was played 2 yrs ago..lol...what can you do, right? lol

we're playing this for my high school band and let me just say good job flutes/piccolo! that part is HARD! (i play the flute if you couldn't guess)

The tempo is actually pretty good. Coulda used more french horn, they were great!

yeah its suppose to be faster but I think that the director wanted to be safe than sorry. this band did a great job with it. I'm in a college concert band and we even have problems with this piece so give them some credit, great job! keep up the good work!
