Drew and Adam should check the text of the 1st Amendment, because as far as my eyes can see it doesn't say anything about protecting your job in case you decide to say some bigoted bullshit nor does it give you any immunity from repercussions from your words from other citizens. It limits the government from making laws that prohibit you from saying it -in most cases- that's it. If you don't want people to respond to what you say, don't say it, otherwise man up to the consequences.

We in America now find ourselves in fear of expressing our opinions, right or wrong, because our livelihoods can be taken away. Does this seem familiar? Does this seem anything like when Joe McCarthy was on his own mission to squash communist sentiment in the US in the 50's?

Most Americans can agree that blacklisting people for their ideas and beliefs is anti-American, so why are we repeating the same mistake 60 years later?

Freedom of speech is the most important right we have........
