@misterprickly Talking big and not necessarily following through is definitely part of what makes us men imo :p
-
@misterprickly 'Cause we flaunt semi naked women everywhere to the extent that women think they have to be like that. If there were as many male models advertising everything people wouldn't be screaming as much :p
-
@ppdrum Yeah, well these kinds of clubs are clearly aimed towards men whereas gaming as a medium doesn't have to be. Also there aren't people crying out for more male poledancers 'cause yeah, men are different, we're just more like dirty minded or something. :( I mean there will be ladies nights type places they're just not as common. And if pole dancers make lots by exploiting gullible men, power to them! Nothing wrong with enjoying our sexuality :)

people that play video games are proven to be less successful at life than none gamers...
so don't worry, both genders are equally shit.

@BonusRoundTube oh ok cool i had no idea thats awesome

@larkin540 kirithm is Danell Folyeds (created of extra credits and the voice of extra credits) YouTube account . He made it while in school extra credits at the time was a student project for his class.
if you notice the video isn't actual called or labeled extra credits. also this video predates extra credits videos as we know them today. posted in 2009. ec didn't join the escapist till 2010 later penny arcade
-
kirithim didnt make that video is was extra credits check them out on penny arcade tv

why girl gamer? why can't you just be gamers. this whole flaunting your gender is why we can't get ahead in the gaming world.
-
Right on! Counter Strike and Half Life 2.

Well, they are both masculine, I never implied Mario wasn't. I dont know what that has to do with a shirtless male = masculinity, as Marcus and the other Gears of War characters wear full body armour. You obviously are missing my point, which was GENERALLY a shirtless male lead CONVEYS masculinity, I'm not saying it's the DEFINITION of masculinity.
Let me start by saying kudos to "coming out of the closet" and make a video response, but I'll be honest. Your video was a bit slow to get into and felt a little all over the place in terms of delivery. I also wasn't too keen on how you opened the video, "Hi I'm -insert name here-, I'm a girl gamer." I felt you should have opened with "Hi I'm Samantha (my name), and I'm a gamer." Why do we need to clarify ourselves as girl or female gamers? How can we ever expect to be treated equal as gamers w

@Pwncess074 I think those are very valid points.
In all honesty, this video was made on a whim and completely improvised after my friend and I watched Kirithim's video.

There are many professions dominated by females (Teacher 80%, nurse 90%, secretary, childminder, social worker, cleaner, shop assistant (sales Clerk), librarian, hairdresser, and of course the clothing industry) , I never hear a discussion about how we can get more male pole dancers! and more women spending money in these establishments! pole dancers make thousands a night and are happy to exploite themselves and exploit the gullible men.

@ppdrum I have been to a male strip club. I get it. I understand how objectification can make good money. I provided some of that money in the form of single dollar bills.
